2 Year Aged Cheddar

Aged Cheddar pairs well with aged whisky.
The oldest of our range, this fine, craft cheddar creates an explosion of flavor.
The rather pronounced aroma of the two products creates the perfect mix. They share common flavors like nuts, bourbon, and an oak barrel aftertaste.
Irish whiskey is the most well-suited because it has been aged in a sherry cask.
Both have a strong and complex aroma, they will band together and make each cheddar bite and whisky sip, unique.

This smoked and spicy cheddar has a complex taste that makes all its flavor.
Cut your cheddar into small, thin squares, then place them on a cracker.
Add in between your crackers and cheddar a slice of spicy pepperoni to finalize your cracker bites. For the final touch, drizzle with hot red pepper jelly.

This semi-soft cheese has a light, spicy flavor that will revive the aroma of nuts.
Want a quick snack? Simply mix cheddar squares with almonds or walnuts.

What would a good cheddar be without good wine? Cabernet Sauvignon is the best pairing for this cheddar. It is a red wine with dark fruit flavors like black cherry and blackberry.
If the wine has a taste of red fruits, serve it with blackberries or blueberries.
Tip: Don’t put the wine in the fridge, it is recommended to serve it at room temperature. If the wine is too cold, it will alter its natural aroma.

How about a meat option? Salami, chorizo, Iberian ham, anything is possible when it comes to charcuterie!
Mix with dried fruits such as apricots, raisins, and figs. Add some slices of toasted bread and orange marmalade. It makes a delightful duo with flavorful cheddar.

Sweet fruits with white cheddar that is creamy and mild, like Vermont, make a super tasty combination!
Apples, grapes, pears, and red berries all pair wonderfully with White Vermont Cheddar. Slightly acidic fruits can also be a good pairing because their sharpness will counterbalance the buttery side of the cheddar.
Tip: If you want your fruit board to be beautiful, do not cut the fruit too early before serving. Some fruits may turn brown due to oxidation.

Mature and sharp cheddars, like our 2 Years Aged Cheddar and Smoky Hickory Cheddar, go with IPAs or Trappist beer that have a slightly bitter finish.
